The Demagogandmagogy
(with sincere apologies to Lewis Caroll for this work of nonsense)
’Twas Cruz, and the slithy Trumps
Did Rubio and Bush in the Paul:
All Carson were the Christies,
And the Santorum Kittington appalled.
“Beware the Demagogandmagogy, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Their call to build new walls!
Beware the Oliverez bird, and shun
The Petyos and Fellures!”
He took his voting sword in hand;
Long time the Bowers foe he sought—
So rested he by the Republican tree
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in Gilmore thought he stood,
The Demagogandmagogy, with eyes of flame,
Came Christensen through the Bickelmeyer wood,
And Bailey as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The voting blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went Gallup-polling back.
“And hast thou slain the Demagogandmagogy?
Come to my arms, my Kasich boy!
O Pataki day! Huckabee! Graham!”
He chortled in his joy.
’Twas Cruz, and the slithy Trumps
Did Rubio and Bush in the Paul:
All Carson were the Christies,
And the Santorum Kittington appalled.
