border songs

Hi all,

You may have heard about the Mexican teenager who was shot and killed in Nogales, Mexico by a U.S. Border Patrol agent who fired at him through the border wall from Arizona a week or so ago.

Or perhaps you've heard about the roughly one hundred migrants --- men, women and children --- who have died this year while  trekking though the Arizona desert in search of a better life or to be with family.

Certainly you've heard of the laws passed in Arizona and other states which make everyone guilty until proven innocent based upon the color of their skin or the manner in which they dress or speak.

Now into all of this darkness comes a little light in the form of Border Songs.

There's even a duet of poetry and border wall music.

So there it is : A bit of light in the darkness.
