after a show this guy walks up to me, looks at the tip jar on my amp which had a few bills and asks: you want a tip? sure, i replied. quit playing music, he said. its not always easy trying to figure out the boundaries between passion and commerce, but if you'd like to support what i do - in any form - you will always have my gratitude.
