Excited to be composing a new sound installation based on Patty's images...(Official Event Details)Artist, Patricia Katchur grew up in Pittsburgh where she spied glimpses of urban decay brought about by a dying steel industry. She was taken aback by these scenes as they sat juxtaposed against the beautiful, natural world of flora, fauna and the ever-changing weather. These youthful memories have defined her artistic vision and guided her careers in art, commerce and collaborations. Joining Ms. Katchur during the reception will be special guest Glenn Weyant/ SonicAnta who created a score inspired by her work.!!!Beer, wine and food available for sale!!!
